Musheer Ahmed, PhD
Dr. Ahmed is the CEO, CTO, and Founder of FraudScope. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in the area of Healthcare Security.
Dr. Ahmed’s doctoral thesis tackled some of the biggest challenges facing our nation’s health data infrastructure. His research on reducing losses in the U.S. healthcare system due to fraud, waste, and abuse forms the core of the proprietary ”Claims Intelligence” technology used by FraudScope.
Mustaque Ahamad, PhD
Dr. Ahamad is the Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of FraudScope. He is also Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Pindrop Security and a professor of computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Pindrop Security is a leader in phone fraud prevention with a total financing of $122 million from top-tier investors, such as Andreessen Horowitz, Citi Ventures, Felicis Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Webb Investment Network.
Dr. Ahamad has held multiple leadership roles within academia over the years and is currently the Associate Director of Education and Outreach at the Georgia Tech Institute for Information Security & Privacy.
Paul Royal is Chief Information Security Officer at Fraudscope, where he oversees organization-wide initiatives aimed at managing risk to both Protected Health Information (PHI) and company systems and networks. His previous roles include leadership of the Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC), where he facilitated significant expansion of center IT infrastructure, headed the MS Information Security degree program, and won millions of dollars in sponsorship for cyber security research and education from both government and industry.
